Playa Games ist ein seit 2009 am deutschen Markt etabliertes Entwicklerstudio und Betreiber von browserbasierten und mobilen Games. An unserem Hamburger Firmensitz mit herrlichem Blick auf die Binnenalster kreieren und entwickeln wir mit großer Leidenschaft täglich neue Ideen für unser preisgekröntes MMORPG Shakes & Fidget und für zukünftige Games.

Außerdem kümmern wir uns um die riesige Community, die über die Jahre rund um Shakes & Fidget gewachsen ist. Auf unseren verschiedenen Social Media Kanälen informieren wir über wichtige News, kündigen spannende Let’s Play Events an, veranstalten Gewinnspiele, versorgen die Spieler:innen mit Codes und vieles mehr.

Playa Games has been an established developer and operator of browser-based and mobile games in the German market since 2009. At our Hamburg headquarters, with a magnificent view of the Binnenalster, we passionately create and develop new ideas daily for our award-winning MMORPG Shakes & Fidget and for future games.

In addition, we take care of the huge community that has grown around Shakes & Fidget over the years. On our various social media channels, we provide important news, announce exciting Let's Play events, hold contests, supply players with codes, and much more.

Neuaufstellung der LiveOps. Seit dem Jahr 2020 ist das Team auf von 10 auf über 50 Mitarbeitende angewachsen.

Playa Games erzielt einen Rekordjahresumsatz von 17,5 Mio. Euro und Thorsten Rohmann wird alleiniger Geschäftsführer von Playa Games.

Playa Games achieves a record annual turnover of 17.5 million euros, and Thorsten Rohmann becomes the sole Managing Director of Playa Games.

Die schwedische Stillfront Group übernimmt Playa Games im Dezember.

Shakes & Fidget frontent wird neu in Unity entwickelt und in dem Zusammenhanggrafisch komplett überarbeitet.

The Shakes & Fidget frontend is newly developed in Unity and is completely redesigned graphically in the process.

Das Backend von Shakes & Fidget wird so überarbeitet, dass man weitere Updates implementieren kann.
Erstmals werden Kooperationen mit Influencern geschlossen.
